Mrs Grimshaw – Pre-School Leader

Mrs Grimshaw has worked for Hillside since 2011. In her free time she enjoys swimming, cycling and fitness. She has climbed Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. Mrs Grimshaw loves spending time seeking out new activities and adventures to do with family and friends.

The children call her Mrs Shaw (as it makes it easier to differentiate between her and Mrs Brookshaw!)

Mrs Maggs – Deputy Pre-School Leader

Mrs White – Early Years Practitioner

Mrs White has worked at Hillside for twenty years and has been involved with the pre-school since her children attended in 1998. She has two grown up sons and enjoys reading, going to the cinema and theatre and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs Brookshaw – Early Years Practitioner

Mrs Brookshaw has worked for Hillside since 2017. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves being outdoors, walking, cycling and gardening. Mrs Brookshaw has three children, and likes baking and trying out new recipes with them.

The children call her Mrs Brook (as it is easier for them to differentiate between her and Mrs Grimshaw!)

Mrs Hall – Early Years Practitioner

We were delighted to welcome Mrs Hall to our team earlier this year.  She has worked in Early Years since 2019, qualified as a level 3 practitiioner in 2021 and joined Hillside in June 2024.  Mrs Hall has previously worked as a greengrocer and yoga teacher, she still enjoys growing vegetables and practicing yoga in her spare time. She loves spending time with family and curling up with a good book
